Bravo! I couldn't agree more. It is bizarre to me how parenting (or lack there of) has evolved. I've recently witnessed a parenting style where the child is not told "no" because it will break his spirit. He is also not told to do anything, he is asked. Free will but with zero consequence. The kid is two and runs the household. Absurd. Should be rather interesting in years to come.
